Director of Domestic Violence Programs & Partner Engagement

The Rose Andom Center, Colorado's first Family Justice Center (FJC), is a survivor-centered, trauma-informed collaborative that cultivates hope for individuals and families impacted by intimate partner abuse.

Job Title: Director of DV Programs & Partner Engagement

Status: Full Time-Exempt

Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 DOE

Job Summary:

The Director of DV Programs & Partner Engagement is responsible for overseeing and supporting the Domestic Violence Fatality Review and the Child & Youth Services Program Managers as well as cultivating, sustaining and enhancing a culture of collaboration among a broad base of partners and stakeholders. This position is key to aligning services and partnerships consistent with a family justice center model, enabling the Rose Andom Center to provide a range of services to victims of intimate partner abuse and sexual assault. The position helps to instill a culture of collaboration within the Rose Andom Center, cultivating opportunities to nurture and sustain partner relationships, including partner meetings and feedback opportunities.

The Director of DV Programs & Partner Engagement must have strong management skills and the ability to foster collaborative relationships with a diverse group of community service providers and city agency partner organizations. The position requires the ability to represent the agency at meetings, promoting strong partnerships and collaborative relationships to facilitate better access to services for victims and survivors utilizing the Rose Andom Center.

Job duties include:

Program Support & Development:
• Supervise and oversee development and growth of the Child & Youth Services programming, including Pathways and Camp Hope, working with the Child & Youth Services Program Manager to implement the goals of the program.
• Supervise and oversee development of the Domestic Violence Fatality Review programming, including the Denver Metro DV Fatality Review Team, work with the Colorado DV Fatality Review Board and growth of statewide regional review teams with training and technical assistance as needed, working with the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Program Manager to implement the goals of the program.
• In collaboration with the Executive Director, Associate Director and leadership team, make and implement recommendations for areas of improvement and programmatic expansion, in alignment with the Rose Andom Center mission, strategic plan, and funding opportunities.

Partner Engagement and Collaboration:

The Director of Special Programs & Partner Engagement oversees and cultivates partner relationships to help ensure effective delivery of services to victim/survivors served by the Rose Andom Center.
• Provide trauma informed, culturally sensitive leadership to partners, promoting a culture where all victim/survivors are respected, risk factors are mitigated, and safety is increased.
• Establish and coordinate tiered communication strategies with partners, to include facilitation of weekly check in meetings, weekly email regarding RAC and partner updates, and regular partner meetings (monthly/quarterly).
• Facilitate regular meetings with and between partner agencies (and, as needed, staff) to maintain a quality of excellence in victim service delivery; identify areas of improvement as needed and problem-solve solutions to address identified areas of concern.
• Organize and plan quarterly All Partner Team meetings in collaboration with Associate Director, Executive Director and Director of Advocacy Services.
• Coordinate and provide onboarding for new partner staff (individually or group) to include office logistics, security protocols, understanding of FJC model and purpose, partner expectations, philosophy of care, etc.
• Establish and maintain current partner schedules.
• Work with the Associate Director to review, update and individualize partner MOU's on a regular (annual) basis to help ensure clear expectations and partner commitment.
• In collaboration with the Associate Director and Director of Advocacy Services, identify and coordinate training needs and/or cross-collaborative learning opportunities for partners and staff. Plan and coordinate training such as Lunch & Learns, Roundtable discussion topics. Etc., developing contacts and resources as needed.
• Identify and disseminate partner-wide information of interest: research articles, training tools, best practices information, external training opportunities.
• Work with RAC leadership and partners to identify gaps in partnerships and the need for new or additional community engagement and/or partnerships. Cultivate partnership opportunities to benefit the mission of the Rose Andom Center and work with Associate Director to develop appropriate alliances. (I.e. alternative therapies, behavioral health, housing, etc.)
• Develop process for establishing off-site partnerships - criteria, benefits, limitations, etc.
• Expand opportunities for partner team building and collaboration, creating partner staff well-being opportunities to avoid partner isolation and burnout.

Data and Reporting:
• Consistently collect and track data from all partner agencies to effectively demonstrate the impact of co-located services. Help ensure accurate tracking of victim services delivered

by partners, enhancing the ability to provide thorough data collection for grants and other reporting requirements to demonstrate impact of FJC model. Establish consistent data collection methods among partners.
• Use data analysis to inform continuous quality improvement in service delivery and partner engagement.
• Work with Executive and Associate Directors to integrate data collection methods within RAC organizational tools (making relevant adjustments to Civicore or other effective tools).
• Collect anecdotal data from partners to better reflect impact and outcomes from FJC services; develop partner evaluation or feedback surveys regarding partner perceptions of their engagement with the Rose Andom Center and its' impact on victim services.
• Together with RAC leadership staff, ensure a safe work environment for all staff and partners and compliance with Rose Andom Center policies and best practices.

Job Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Minimum of bachelor's degree in human service-related field required, Master's degree preferred. Related education or experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may be considered.
• 2-3 years' experience supervising staff, volunteers, or interns.
• Prior experience or demonstrated knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, crisis intervention, trauma informed care, and motivational interviewing.
• Knowledge of human service delivery systems and systems advocacy responsibilities; knowledge of the criminal justice system as it relates to domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Familiarity with the family justice center model and demonstrated commitment to collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize and work independently, while participating as a strong collaborative team member with a culturally diverse team of staff, volunteers, clients and partners.
• Experience leading meetings with diverse stakeholders.
• Highly adaptable leadership style with supportive, kind, direct feedback.
• Ability to make sound decisions, and flexible thinking that takes into consideration immediate needs as well as long-term impact.
• Comfort working in a variety of tech platforms like Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Zoom, Acuity, etc.
• Position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check and proof of COVID vaccinations.
