Job Description: As a BSA/AML Analyst at International Payout Systems Inc. (i-payout), you will leverage your transactional monitoring, data, and analytical skills to ensure the BSA/AML/OFAC program meets federal regulations. Your role will involve enhancing BSA/AML/OFAC controls, identifying and defending against emerging financial threats, and improving overall process and team efficiency across all payment platforms, products, and services. i-payout is a leading provider of payout solutions for clients with a significant number of contractors, freelancers, and agents globally, focusing on four core verticals: freelance, direct sales, esports, and insurance industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Fulfill regulatory obligations, including filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), while ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
BSA/AML/OFAC Controls: Develop expertise in i-payout's BSA/AML/OFAC controls, mastering related systems, data sources, back-end controls, and performing screening and tuning activities.
Risk Mitigation: Provide recommendations to develop, enhance, and operationalize policies, processes, and controls to mitigate financial crime risk.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance current monitoring processes to improve efficiency, reduce false positives, and better detect unusual activity within financial crimes.
Policy and Governance: Drive policy and governance initiatives, including the development and management of policies and procedures for board reporting, internal training, financial crime assessments, and monitoring systems tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, customer support, and IT teams to ensure compliance measures are integrated into platform development, transaction processes, and user interactions.
Audit and Reporting: Support internal audits for existing clients and compliance processes, ensuring readiness for regulatory audits and assessments. Oversee and manage SAR filings and contribute to auditing efforts with a strong understanding of MSB (Money Services Business) requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of BSA/AML/OFAC-related experience in the financial services industry, including financial crime investigations, regulatory monitoring, and audit experience. MSB experience preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred); CAM certification is highly desired.
Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and adaptability to various compliance-related programs (e.g., transaction monitoring software, databases, identity verification software). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, suitable for training and policy interpretation.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in money transfer (MSB/MTL), fintech, or regulatory settings, as well as familiarity with management reporting and presentations. SQL experience is a plus.
