Position Description
SupplyTrust is entering a phase of significant growth. The leadership team is looking for a very strong junior to mid-level analyst to join the founding partners. This role will be working side-by-side with all three founding partners to support investigations, technical analyses, and deliverable creation for studies. This individual will work side-by-side with the founding partners and help shape the future of the business. The role, like the company, is focused on execution, but a successful candidate will also have a desire to participate in all activities relating to operating and growing a business.
Core Requirements
US Citizen
Undergraduate degree
3+ years work experience (graduate school does not count towards this requirement)
Proficient in spreadsheet software (eg. Excel, Google Sheets) including use of functions, hotkeys, and pivot tables
Experience with slide software (eg. PowerPoint, Google Slides)
Preferred Qualifications
Problem Solving and Analysis
Ability to analyze complex situations, apply structure to open-ended problems, create or apply standards, and document methodologies
Experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg. Financial, business case, data-driven, root cause)
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
Communication and Writing
Strong logic-driven communication skills, ability to support a business or technical case with examples, parallels from other industries, and creative justifications
Ability to explain complex technical problems to non-experts
Demonstrable writing and composition skills
Leadership and Project Management
Experience planning, initiating, and implementing projects, including developing a business case and getting approval from key stakeholders
Comfort leading projects with limited project oversight and with ambiguity
Experience leading projects, managing a P&L, or similar responsibility
Familiarity with project management software or concepts (Jira, Basecamp, Confluence, etc.)
Assertiveness and confidence interacting with very senior military and civilian personnel
Other Things
Comfortable balancing priorities between execution and new pursuits (business development, proposal development, conference attendance, etc.)
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand industrial processes at a high level (Like working on cars, or play with a Raspberry Pi, or get wild with Legos, or experience working alongside mechanical personnel)
Flexible to non-standard travel schedule on short notice (up to 50% travel)

Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Background in supply chain or operations management
Experience with or exposure to programming concepts such as storage, statistical, and/or web (Python, SQL, Javascript, Tableau, VBA, etc.)
Hands-on programming experience/experience writing production code
Experience in management consulting or investment banking
Compensation and Perks
Total comp $80k-$154k
--> $80k-$110k base salary (commensurate with experience)
?--> Quarterly bonuses (profit sharing) based on firm performance (up to 10% of base salary each quarter)
