Job Summary
The Senior Vice President, Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for Ready®'s entire supply chain, procurement, production, and quality functions. This position will drive the strategy and execution of all production, distribution, and retail operations, monitoring and achieving / exceeding profitability and revenue performance goals.
Job Responsibilities • Provide direct management over the full scope of the product lifecycle, driving initiatives to optimize operational efficiency from manufacturing to retail. • Evaluate the operational performance of supply chain management, procurement, production, and quality functions to recommend strategies to improve results. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of retail strategies with production, quality, distribution, marketing, and compliance efforts. • Lead, grow, and direct the management and development of services including sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain. • Evaluate vendor partners in all areas of operations and lead contract negotiations. • Oversee the demand planning function to connect sales activity throughout the supply chain for cross-function visibility. • Effectively hold leadership teams accountable to deliver results by having a disciplined approach to operational excellence and following company policies. • Build annual operational plans and budgets. • Develop, evaluate, and mentor direct reports.
Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or another related field. • Experience: 10 - 15 years of operational experience in the food and beverage industry. Previous experience managing an operational team is also required. • Demonstrated success with leading operations in a brand producing and sales environment, demonstrating efficiency improvements and scalability. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. • Demonstrated success with contract development and negotiations. • Proficiency in data and analytics tools. • Ability to manage operational budgets and contribute to P&L goals.
