Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled MS Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant / Solution Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions across all major functional modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Field Service). The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in the US Healthcare IT domain and extensive experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). This role is crucial in architecting, configuring, and delivering scalable and compliant CRM solutions that address the complexities of the healthcare sector.

This position can be based in Los Angeles, CA, or remotely within the United States, with immediate availability preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Architecture and System Design:
  • Architect and design comprehensive Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions to meet the needs of healthcare organizations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions that leverage Dynamics 365 CRM's Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Field Service modules, as well as the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Lead the design of scalable, secure, and performance-optimized solutions that integrate Dynamics 365 with existing healthcare IT systems, such as EMRs/EHRs, patient management systems, and healthcare analytics tools.

  1. Functional Consulting across Modules:
  • Sales Module: Customize and configure the Sales module to manage patient outreach, engagement, and communication for healthcare providers.
  • Marketing Module: Use the Marketing module to support patient engagement campaigns, outreach programs, and targeted healthcare communications.
  • Customer Service Module: Implement solutions in the Customer Service module for patient support, inquiries, and case management to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Field Service Module: Customize the Field Service module to streamline and manage healthcare provider field operations, home healthcare visits, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure seamless functionality across these modules, enabling healthcare organizations to achieve a unified view of patient engagement, communications, and services.

  1. Power Platform Integration:
  • Utilize Power Apps to create custom applications that extend Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities for healthcare use cases, such as patient intake forms, appointment scheduling, and care coordination.
  • Develop automation workflows with Power Automate to streamline healthcare processes, such as appointment reminders, follow-ups, and data synchronization between systems.
  • Leverage Power BI to create interactive and insightful dashboards for healthcare providers, supporting data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.

  1. Healthcare IT Expertise and Compliance:
  • Apply deep knowledge of the US Healthcare IT industry, ensuring solutions comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS standards.
  • Develop solutions that integrate with healthcare systems using protocols such as HL7 and FHIR to enable secure, interoperable data exchange between Dynamics 365 CRM and healthcare applications.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and integrity across CRM solutions, implementing encryption, role-based access controls, and audit trails.

  1. Requirements Gathering and Functional Specifications:
  • Conduct discovery workshops with healthcare stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows, and identify pain points in current systems.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and design documentation, ensuring alignment with project goals and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on best practices in Dynamics 365 CRM implementation and healthcare industry trends.

  1. Customization and Configuration:
  • Customize Dynamics 365 CRM's functionality through custom entities, fields, business rules, workflows, and plugins to support healthcare-specific workflows.
  • Configure user roles, permissions, and security settings within Dynamics 365 to ensure data protection in line with healthcare regulations.
  • Develop solutions that enable seamless collaboration between different healthcare departments, such as patient services, marketing, field service teams, and customer support.

  1. Integration and Data Management:
  • Design and implement integration strategies to connect Dynamics 365 CRM with external healthcare systems, including EMRs, EHRs, and patient management systems, using APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Lead data migration efforts, ensuring data quality, mapping, and validation to facilitate smooth transitions from legacy systems to Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Manage and maintain data governance policies, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and high-quality data for analytics and reporting.

  1. Testing, Quality Assurance, and User Acceptance:
  • Develop and implement test plans, scripts, and scenarios for custom solutions, integrations, and module configurations to ensure functionality aligns with requirements.
  • Conduct and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with healthcare stakeholders, gathering feedback, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring project success.
  • Perform performance testing and tuning to ensure optimized application response times and user experience.

  1. Training and User Adoption:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials, user guides, and onboarding sessions to facilitate the adoption of Dynamics 365 CRM solutions within healthcare teams.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions for healthcare providers, administrative staff, and support teams, ensuring they are proficient in using CRM functionalities.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to ensure seamless operation and continuous user satisfaction.

  1. Stakeholder Collaboration and Project Leadership:
  • Act as a liaison between healthcare clients, project managers, and technical teams to drive project goals and deliverables.
  • Manage client relationships, provide regular project updates, and address concerns to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Guide junior team members and provide technical mentorship in Dynamics 365 CRM best practices, healthcare IT standards, and project management methodologies.

  1. Continuous Improvement and Industry Best Practices:
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and healthcare IT industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs within Dynamics 365 solutions for healthcare clients.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable assets, templates, and best practices to streamline future implementations.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365, CPHIMS) are a plus.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM with hands-on expertise across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Field Service modules.
  • Proven experience working in the US Healthcare IT domain, with a thorough understanding of healthcare-specific workflows, regulations, and system requirements.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and their application within healthcare settings.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in configuring, customizing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service) to support healthcare workflows.
  • Expertise in Power Platform tools, including Power Apps for custom application development, Power Automate for workflow automation, and Power BI for data visualization.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
