The Aging Services Administrator will manage the day-to-day operations at the University Crossing facility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of operations and supervision for the skilled nursing facility in coordination with our Aging Services Division.
Accountable for regulatory compliance to include ensuring all guidelines, forms and documentation for residents and employees are met.
Identify and develop policies and standards of care in operations and maintain procedures in accordance with guidelines.
Develop and maintain a sound operating plan and budget with fiscal responsibility.
Demonstrate sound decision-making and judgement competencies to ensure quality standards and metrics are established and met. Reports on metrics to senior leadership on an ongoing basis.
Assure the organization's image and values are at the forefront of all operations and decision making. Always maintain a focus on service delivery and excellence.
Develop and implement successful strategies regarding marketing outreach, occupancy growth, revenue growth, expense control and quality of services and review and redirect activity, if necessary.
Build a high-performing team and keep morale high. Lead and motivate the team to meet the diverse needs of those we care for.
Coordinate all aspects of the employee hiring, review, and performance management process to ensure a high-performing team that is focused on excellent patient care and outcomes.
Develop sound policy and procedure for resident care. Accountable for all aspects of resident and family council meetings and family conferences. Address complaints and resolve issues as necessary.
Ensure appropriate level of care for patients and residents, including a higher level of care when necessary. Coordinate move-ins with department heads.
Balance multiple priorities to achieve our vision.
Responsible for ensuring vendors perform against stated objectives.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the senior living, nursing home, or healthcare field
Specialized training in health and gerontology preferred
Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
Advanced conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
LHA Florida State licensure required
