As Director of Portfolio Management with NeighborWorks Capital you will:
Lead the Portfolio Management team to proactively manage a national portfolio of diverse loans after closing
Maintain strong relationships with community development organizations and financial partners across the country
Continually assess and improve process and business systems to identify early warning signs and capture accurate data for the portfolio, including for new initiatives
Manage annual loan review process, assessing risk by analyzing performance, conditions, and any changes in the borrower or project
Review and approve loan disbursements, extensions, and modifications in the loan portfolio
Work with team to implement effective strategies to address loan issues in the portfolio, reporting on progress to senior leadership and relevant committees
Qualifications
At least 10 years of demonstrated relevant portfolio management or related experience, preferably in multi-family housing and/or commercial real estate at a CDFI or bank, with supervisory experience
Knowledge and experience with multifamily real estate finance, community development real estate, or affordable housing lending experience required
Degree in business, finance, planning, or economics is a plus
