Head of Media Sales (commision-based role)

Location: Austin, TX or Remote

The digital advertising platform of tomorrow

With autonomous electric vehicles, we are modernizing digital out of home (DOOH) marketing to help brands reach & engage with massive audiences - over 25,000 riders per month in Austin, TX!

Our platform allows brands to run hyper targeted digital advertising campaigns within cities and the most dense pedestrian traffic to collect first party data and retarget specific people.

Here are the problems you'll be solving

We're looking for someone with a strong hunter mentality to be our first sales person and a hands-on revenue leader. You'll have uncapped commission and play a significant part in our go-to-market strategy and all business development activities. The desired business development approach is one rooted in process, data, organization and open communication.

As an outbound hunter, you'll be part of our leadership team and own revenue generation in partnership with our CEO, CTO and other team members. Our ideal candidate has gone to market with an emerging product and knows how to open doors to brands and agencies.

Responsibilities

We foster an environment of ownership and initiative. Here are some responsibilities this role will own:

  • Be the first sales person and future leader of the Media Sales team.
  • Own the full sales cycle for your pipeline: prospecting, networking, negotiating, closing contracts, account management and renewals.
  • Lead company growth by closing media campaign sales with top brands and agencies to ensure quota achievement.
  • Experience with developing your own pitch collateral, case studies (with data provided), and targeting high-value prospects with creative, account-based approaches.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on creative deal terms to drive short-and long-term growth.
  • Ensure data cleanliness and accurate representation of data for investors and board members.
  • Open doors with brands and agencies via your reputation, brand awareness, and representing the company at sales meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

  • You're comfortable with a commission-based role and have sold innovative advertising solutions.
  • You have 7+ years of outbound advertising sales experience, such as DOOH, advertising agency, and direct sales.
  • You've been responsible for $5M+ per year in digital advertising revenue with consistent year-over-year growth.
  • You have a strong network you can leverage to build brand awareness.
  • You have a track record of outbound prospecting and delivering above quota.
  • You have experience closing new logo deals and growing accounts with major brands and agencies in many verticals.
  • You're a true hunter, and eager to be part of a groundbreaking approach to the DOOH industry.
  • Experience with fundraising is a plus.

Compensation

Commission-based. High performers can expect to earn $120,000 to $190,000
