The New Jersey School Boards Association, a nonpartisan, state-created federation of boards of education that provides mandated governance training to 580 public school districts and the trustees representing the majority of the state's charter schools, is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO/Executive Director to join its team.
The successful candidate will manage the schedule and communications of the CEO/Executive Director and ensure the efficient operation of the Executive Office.
Major duties include:
Serves as the primary point of contact for CEO/Executive Director.
Develop and monitor the annual budget for the executive office.
Assist the Association's officers and CEO/Executive Director as needed with expense reports, scheduling meetings, meeting preparation and other duties as assigned.
Compose and send?emails/letters on behalf of?CEO/Executive Director as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by CEO/Executive Director.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency
Minimum of three years' experience as an administrative assistant
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred: Previous experience as an executive assistant for a company, corporation, or association
Preferred: Experience with social media platforms
Minimum salary $90,000.
