Position Overview: Working alongside our Advisors, the Financial Planner will play a crucial role in delivering bespoke financial strategies and solutions to our high-net-worth clients. This role requires a deep understanding of sophisticated financial planning techniques, investment management, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong client-centric mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work as a team to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients.
Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients' financial goals, needs, and objectives.
Provide tailored financial planning services, including investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Create comprehensive financial plans based on clients' goals and risk tolerance.
Perform detailed financial analysis, including asset allocation, cash flow analysis, and retirement projections.
Develop and recommend investment strategies, financial products, and risk management solutions.
Investment Management:
Work with the lead advisor to frame client goals as the advisor will oversee and manage client investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with clients' goals and risk profiles.
Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities.
Collaborate with the firm's investment team to confirm and monitor the achievement of client goals.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports and updates to clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Client Education & Communication:
Be able to communicate how goal setting works and the why it is important in order to achieve one's financial goals.
Working with lead advisor, the planner needs to be able to relate established goals to portfolio management in order to change the narrative of investment conversations from "beating the markets" to "achieving financial goals".
Educate clients on financial concepts, strategies, and market conditions.
Provide proactive advice and updates on financial matters affecting clients.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other advisors and support staff to deliver cohesive and integrated financial solutions.
Participate in firm-wide meetings and contribute to the development of new strategies and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or advanced certifications preferred).
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or equivalent professional certification required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning, preferably within a high-net-worth or boutique wealth management environment.
Demonstrated expertise in investment management, estate planning, tax strategies, and retirement planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop strategic recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
