Nautical Manufacturing & Fulfillment is seeking an organized and proactive Customer Service Representative (CSR) who will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and efficient order processing. The CSR will communicate with customers and project managers to ensure accurate, timely, and professional order handling and will act as an intermediary, balancing customer requests with project timelines and production capacities. This position requires a proactive approach, focusing on clear communication, accurate documentation, and collaborative problem-solving. This position will be vital in supporting the growth of our accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order updates, providing timely and clear information to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers to align customer requests with operational capabilities, acting as a liaison to facilitate smooth communication and anticipate and resolve issues.
Timeline Management: Establish and manage realistic timelines for customer orders based on request specifics, resource availability, and production schedules.
Quote & Sales Order Creation: Collaborate with the production team to develop accurate quotes and create sales orders that align with customer requirements and company pricing structures.
Order Monitoring: Utilize the Extensiv platform to monitor order statuses, update customers as necessary, and ensure prompt order fulfillment and accurate receipt tracking.
Inventory & WMS Knowledge: Apply basic Warehouse Management System (WMS) and inventory management knowledge to support efficient order handling and stock tracking, identifying any discrepancies that could affect order fulfillment.
Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential challenges in order flow or customer satisfaction, addressing issues proactively to prevent delays or misunderstandings.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of WMS and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in customer service or account management, particularly within a manufacturing or fulfillment environment.
Familiarity with Extensiv or similar order management systems.
