We are looking for an organized, strategic, and detailed oriented Hotel Inventory Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our passionate in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is a salaried, full-time hybrid position and is eligible for benefits and bonuses, and international travel opportunities
As an Hotel Inventory Manager you will be working with suppliers for all aspects of the land components for our tours; international and domestic. You will be responsible for supplier communications, hotel inventory, budget management and quality control as well as designing processes and system enhancements for the increased efficiency of the operations team. Your specific area will be determined geographically.
Responsibilities Include:
Secure hotel rooms as needed for assigned suppliers (hotels, restaurants, and other attractions)
Budget Management - create and monitor and deliver on costs according to a set plan
Inventory Management - analyze and process inventory levels to meet forecasted demand, secure dates, and hotels accordingly
Supplier Relationship - manage relationships with current and potential new suppliers
Quality-Control - maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction with all suppliers
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication, negotiation skills and cultural awareness
Experience in travel, tourism or travel agency industry is preferred
Be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
Personable, service-minded, and able to adapt communication style as needed
Financial acumen including budgeting and spreadsheet skills (Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Well-traveled domestically or international, preferred
