Job Description:

Seeking a top Executive Assistant within the alternative investments industry. The employer is an advisory firm in Los Angeles that is focused on private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds. The company has been in operation for 15 years advising institutional investors and family offices.

The executive assistant will support the Principal of the firm and will provide support for many different tasks related to the operations of the business. The person in this role will have a unique opportunity to broaden their skillset in an intellectual environment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a strong work ethic, and be ready to work with senior executives, confidential information, and deadlines. Responsibilities will range from booking travel and meetings, to proofreading reports and data management. This full time position is based in Century City, Los Angeles and is hybrid. The hours are 8am-5pm PT and over time is not expected.

To be considered for the role, applicants will need a minimum of 2 years of recent experience working at a private equity investment manager or a hedge fund manager. Candidates from fund administrators focused on alternative investments are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Book meetings using Teams, Zoom, or in person
  • Maintain calendars
  • Organize travel
  • Establish email communications between numerous counterparties
  • Log and file documents
  • Organize documents and reports
  • Proofread reports
  • Collate market data
  • Conduct basic company research
  • Manage digital marketing
  • Assist with company LinkedIn page
  • Data entry
  • Manage database and maintain client portal
  • Manage outside vendors such as technology and insurance
  • Order and mail annual gifts
  • Other executive and personal assistance to the Principal

Prerequisite Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior experience in administrative role at a private equity fund or a hedge fund required
  • 2 years of administrative assistant experience required
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Skilled in Apple software
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Skilled in Zoom
  • Skilled in Mailchimp
  • Skilled in LinkedIn company pages

Compensation

DOE ranging from $75,000-$95,000
