The Product Development Manager is responsible for working within the Product Design & Development team and among internal cross-functional teams to achieve the goal of creating meaningful, quality product for in-house brands across multiple retail categories. This role ensures the direction and execution of product lines that align with product strategies and business goals for each season and overall year.
Key Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with internal teams among design & development, sales, marketing and brand to fully realize product lines, direction, and strategy for in-house brands. • Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights identify market trends, evaluate new technologies and determine opportunities among product categories. • Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape among specific product categories, applying learnings to inform product innovation, updates and improvements. • Acquire product expertise through comprehensive research and development process, providing solutions to customer issues and needs through quality, innovative product . • Manage technical development and refinement of product throughout the development process. • Work closely with internal and overseas design and engineering teams from initial ideation to final production, ensuring product expectations are met through quality, cost, and adhering to timelines. • Cultivate a team-oriented work environment and collaborative spirit on all projects.
