Job Title: Housekeeping Associate
Reports to: Facilities Manager

Location: Mooresville, IN

The Role:

The housekeeping associate performs responsible housekeeping/sanitation work involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the DC including, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, work areas, conference rooms, and equipment as well as building entrances and exterior of building. The housekeeping associate may be also leaned on to help train new employees in proper custodial procedures for the use of manually operated tools, electrically powered machines, cleaning compounds, solvents, and chemicals.

Your Impact

• Performing all janitorial duties necessary. Floor waxing, Break Room and Restroom detail Cleaning Office and Detail, at times shampooing of floors.


• Responsible for the building/area being serviced weekly


• General housekeeping of departments


• Regularly inspect work to ensure that established standards are met

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of various cleaning methods and excellent communication skills.


• Ability to write and read simple correspondence.


• Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and walk repeatedly


• Ability to apply common sense and carry out instructions.


• Ability to understand all functions through training.


• Ability to follow safety procedures.
