The Opportunity



This role will support the Accounting Manager in the execution of day-to-day accounting functions, month end closing process, and daily/weekly/monthly financial reporting. You will be responsible for reviewing multiple P&Ls for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP.


This is a hybrid position and can be based out of our Merrillville, IN or Chicago, IL office!



Key Job Responsibilities





  • Support general ledger monthly close process

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information to ensure compliance with Global Accounting Policies and GAAP

  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

  • Support audit processes

  • Cash management and bank reconciliations

  • Manage and analyze fixed asset module, including depreciation schedules

  • Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • Preparation of financial reports for department and management use

  • Lease management




Qualifications





  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting role

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and IF formulas)

  • Hands on, takes initiative, is actionable, and follows up

  • Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize tasks, and stay organized

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience utilizing ERP (SAP) is a plus
