Health & Safety Specialist (Field Based) at Environmental Resources Management Inc in EWING, New Jersey

Job Description:

ERM is hiring a Health & Safety Specialist in Raritan, NJ This is a part-time (16-24 hours a week), limited-term position for a duration of six months focusing on implementing H&S programs at a Key client manufacturing facility location for ERM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Industrial Hygiene monitoring.


• Conduct health and safety risk assessments.


• Perform field EHS observations and inspections.


• Assist with collection, review, and analysis of field data to evaluate conditions, present information, and implement effective solutions.


• Identify and implement corrective actions.


• Support our clients desire to improve H&S performance by providing field coaching.


• Participate as an enthusiastic team member on various project teams and effectively complete assignments.


• Spend time onsite at the client location to help solve their H&S challenges. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related science degree preferred.


• Minimum of five years relevant experience with exposure to the manufacturing or research and development industries preferred.


• Experience conducting industrial hygiene monitoring and risk assessments.


• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.


• Ability to work independently and in a team setting, with guidance and direction.


• Strong work ethic with a passion to learn, grow, and thrive.
