This position will be working closely with local entity constituents, external consultants, and internal team in the preparation of the annual Medicare and state cost reports, along with other government reporting.
Assist in the preparation of the Medicare and state cost reports for a number of hospitals across our system.
Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects or analysis that evaluate the various components of government payer reimbursement.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting of net revenue-with an emphasis on the portion related to public payors.
Ability to research regulations and other guidance to ensure compliance and support Partner's position.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Mathematics is required.
A minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience (including internships) in healthcare finance or reimbursement. Experience with cost reports or experience in a fiscal intermediary role is preferred.

Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically when solving complex problems.
Excellent organizational skills.
Interest in government health care payment policy.
Intermediate (or better) Microsoft Excel skills, with desire to develop more advanced skills. Basic competency in Word required. Experience using Microsoft Access and PowerPoint is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired.
Thrive in a team environment that values self-motivation, independent thinking, and a strong work ethic.
Interest in efficiency, automation, and work process improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of personnel across many departments in a matrixed organization.
