Job Summary
Experienced detailed oriented individual to develop SPI & SMT programs for the inspection and assembly of printed circuit board assemblies for a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities to include:
Develop and maintain SPI programs to ensure capable Solder Paste Printing Processes as determined by SMT Engineering.
Develop and maintain SMT Placement Programs
Debug new and existing programs.
Develop and perform validation plans for new programs.
Control of machine programs within the production documentation system.
To apply the requirements of IPC-A-610 standard (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) objectively and consistently.
Support SMT production as needed.
Maintain appropriate quality records as required by the Quality team.
Serve as cross-functional team member on new projects and proto-types.
Create training documents as assigned.
Train operators
Provide off-shift support via phone or on-site as needed. Compensation for this activity per company policy.
Troubleshoot & repair equipment with maintenance team as needed.
Identify and implement continuous improvements.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Character Traits:
Knowledge of printed circuit boards and electronic component packages
IPC-A-610 Certification (training to be provided as needed)
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Detail oriented person.
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
Past experience or education in computer programming and/or manufacturing machine programming.
Experience in data manipulation using a database or spreadsheet.
