Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Handler for a Data Center in Santa Clara, CA. Come join a leading Fortune 100 Telephone and Technology company.
As a Material Handler you will:
Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and warps are disposed of according to company policy
Assisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipment
Assisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organized
Assisting in removal of decommissioned assets from the data halls
General dock and inventory duties as assigned
This is a full time, Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30 pm opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a semi regular basis
Able to stand and walk for most of your shift
Able to work in a team and independently as needed
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
Position requires at least 2 years of experience working in any of these fields. Warehouse, material handling, or shipping/receiving.
Pay Rate:$24.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
