About the position
Our summer internship program allows you to learn more about the electrical construction industry and our business before beginning your career after graduation. As an intern, you will support our proposal writing and marketing efforts in the construction industry. This internship provides hands-on experience in crafting compelling proposals that win projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and showcasing the company's strengths to prospective clients.
Day in the life
Assist in writing, editing, and formatting proposals for construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and technical teams to gather content and ensure proposal accuracy.
Organize and maintain proposal templates, project profiles, and other marketing assets.
Conduct research on potential clients and market trends to tailor proposals effectively.
Support the development of marketing collateral, including project case studies and team bios.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Adobe InDesign, Canva or other graphic design tools is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in construction or engineering industries is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
