This strategic role is a dynamic and results-driven professional responsible for accelerating business growth within existing regional accounts and cultivating new client relationships. This role requires a strong focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities in the architecture, developer, and general contractor commercial real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain a strong professional network.



Pay: $104,000 - 150,000/year, also eligible for quarterly incentive bonuses



REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




Business Development:




  • New Business Development: Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, inbound assignments, networking, and leveraging industry contacts. Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present overall company value proposition.


  • Expand Existing Business: Drive business growth by expanding relationships with existing regional accounts and identifying new revenue opportunities.


Strategy & Planning:




  • Develop Strategies: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that align with client needs.


  • Account Mapping: Identify top volume target accounts and develop an account roadmap based on regional offices and key decision makers.


  • Monitor Trends: Track market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform business development strategies. Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.


Client Relationship Management:




  • Build Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, industry partners, and other key stakeholders.


  • Ensure Customer Success: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction


Networking & Influence:




  • Build Awareness: Attend local industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a circle of influence and stay informed about industry trends.


  • Expand Network: Actively participate in professional organizations and community groups to enhance the company's visibility and reputation. Develop and maintain a network of contacts within strategic industries.


Results:




  • Deliver Success: Meet or exceed annual assigned sales target.

REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:




Education:



  • Bachelor's degree


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, preferably selling professional services

  • Strong ability to lead a comprehensive value proposition presentation of all LJB service offerings

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business within a market.

  • Experience in a cross-selling sales environment demonstrating results

  • Basic understanding of the structural, infrastructure, and safety engineering sectors preferred.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.

  • Ability to travel overnight up to 40%
