Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Billing Specialist with occasional travel to Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Billing Specialist will issue invoices to be sent to customers through e-mail, mail, etc.


• Process credit memos


• Update customer master file with contact information


• Track exceptions/special handling requests


• Daily transaction register balancing


• As a Billing Specialist, you will answer questions and handle inquiries from customers/sales regarding bills


• Report on activity impacting cash flow to upper management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred


• 5+ years of work experience in billing with to process 400-500 invoices per month


• Background in accounting & analytics


• Software knowledge of basic Excel

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
