Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in Tampa, FL.

Duties:

• Financial Analyst will be responsible for the sales forecast and improving accuracy while streamlining process


• Provide all internal customers with a clear, concise, and accurate assessment of financial performance while identifying gaps to financial goals and prioritize actions


• Deliver project on overall assessment of customer programs, including rebate structure, returns spend, and other customer deductions


• Deliver customer and product gross profit reporting in an accurate, simple, repeatable, and streamlined format


• Work with the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning team (SIOP) on forecast accuracy and delivering improved unit volume forecasts


• As a Financial Analyst, you will direct team to accurate and reliable data of price, mix and volume drivers of the business and understanding of shares gain/losses in the market


• Ensure new product development cases have clear business and financial plans


• Assisting management in developing accurate Financial Plans such as the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the quarterly Forecast preparation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Finance or Accounting degree required


• 2-5 years of experience in an entry level business or financial management or accounting position


• A proven track record of reporting and utilizing financial information to drive business performance


• Accuracy and precision in all matters of presenting and reporting data


• Thorough understanding of Financial Systems and Reporting


• Excellent skills in prioritizing and planning work activities, developing realistic action plans, time efficiency (balance of analytical and action oriented)


• Ability to strike a balance between having perfect data/analysis and decision making


• Effective communication and influencing skills across all levels


• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
