This position's base salary range depends upon experience and location, ranging from $ 73,256 to $95,233.
Job Summary
Supports the development of new beneficial electrification programs. Performs research to help inform the Company on technology, standards, state and federal policies, market trends, and market developments. Leads research initiatives on beneficial electrification adoption and load forecasts. Supports engagement with communities, government, and other stakeholders on matters related to electric vehicles and other beneficial electrification and acts as a beneficial electrification subject matter expert. Participates in regional and national groups related to beneficial electrification to gather information and identify industry best practices. Maintain awareness of State and Federal policy and regulatory proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
Research market and technology trends
Acts as subject matter expert to provide input on Company strategy and program development.
Performs analysis of data to identify technology adoption and load trends.
Leads or provides oversight of university and vendor-led research initiatives that analyze beneficial electrification.
Develops reports and presentations that communicate research and forecast results.
Engages with key stakeholder on topics related to beneficial electrification to understand their needs and communicate related Company activity.
Represent the Company on regional and national beneficial electrification-related working groups.
Draft content for regulatory filings
Reviews and summarizes regulatory Orders and related filings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience or master's degree with demonstrated understanding of beneficial electrification technology and market trends
Experience managing complex projects and initiatives.
Experience performing research and data analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work on a geographically dispersed team.
Ability to work independently, exercise considerable judgment, and recommend a course of action based on solid analysis and rationale.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and understanding of utility regulations and operations.
Understanding of emerging beneficial electrification technologies
Experience conducting stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with advanced analytical tools
