Job Description:

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Lead Russian Instructor for the Project GO Study Abroad Program in Narva, Estonia. This position involves teaching 4th-year Russian to ROTC students, coordinating with other instructors, and overseeing the curriculum for the program.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Russian language classes (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday – Friday).
• Design and implement a syllabus for 4th-year Russian.
• Coordinate curriculum with 2nd and 3rd-year instructors.
• Manage student assessments and provide feedback.
• Assist with cultural activities and excursions.
• Supervise final projects and report grades.

Requirements:

• Terminal degree in Russian or related field.
• Experience teaching Russian.

The University of Pittsburgh is hiring a Lead Russian Instructor for the Spring-Summer Term 2025 to teach the ROTC 4th-year Russian Abroad course at Narva College in Narva, Estonia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and teach the 4th-year Russian course (ROTC 0246).
• Coordinate with other instructors on curriculum and student assignments.
• Supervise student participation in cultural activities and excursions.
• Review student applications and assist with program logistics.

Qualifications:

• A terminal degree in Russian, Slavic Languages, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience is required.
