Under general supervision by Residential Housing Supervisor, the GENERAL CRAFTS TECHNICIAN will be responsible for Residential Housing related activities which includes minor HVAC, electrical maintenance, carpentry, painting and plumbing. Performs preventative maintenance as required.
Repairs sheet rock, paints walls and doors, and replaces door frames.
Repair and replaces and installs toilets and sinks.
Perform general plumbing repairs
Replaces and repairs appliances like refrigerators and stoves.
Maintain building and structure of all offices, dorms and corridors, doors, walls, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, electrical in all building.
Complete work order tasks
Troubleshoot on mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.
Emergency on call duty. If an emergency arises after hours, must come to job site and be prepared to perform normal duties, as well as, other duties assigned; holidays, weekends apply.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma
Required Licensing/Certification:
Valid Texas Driver's License preferred.

Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing Systems and other work-related systems.

Work a fluctuating work schedule.
