Description:
A Marketing and Engagement Specialist is responsible for creating and executing strategies to build strong relationships between the organization and its clients, employees, and stakeholders. This role involves a combination of marketing, community outreach, and employee engagement initiatives aimed at fostering a positive organizational image and improving overall interaction. The position requires a blend of communication skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Community Engagement:
Content Creation: Develop compelling content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and websites to promote the organization’s mission, services, and community impact.
Campaign Development: Assist with implementation of marketing and communication campaigns aimed at increasing visibility, engagement, and client outreach.
Brand Management: Ensure that all external communication aligns with the organization’s brand values and enhances its reputation within the community.
Event Coordination: Help plan and manage internal and external community events that support the organization's goals and engage stakeholders.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, and local organizations to foster trust and collaboration.
Employee Engagement:
Employee Programs: Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving morale, satisfaction, and retention.
Internal Communication: Create and distribute internal communications that keep employees informed and motivated, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Training and Development: Assist in organizing training sessions and professional development opportunities to support employee growth and engagement.
Recruiting: Assist the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist with recruiting events and initiatives as requested.
Analytics and Reporting:
Data Tracking: Monitor and track the effectiveness of engagement and marketing initiatives, using data to make informed adjustments and improvements.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on engagement metrics, campaign performance, and employee satisfaction to leadership, offering recommendations for continued improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in communications, marketing, engagement, or a related role. Experience in community outreach or employee engagement is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with digital marketing tools and social media platforms
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data to guide decision-making.
