What you will do:

We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Lead to join our dynamic team within PGIM, the Global Investment Management division of Prudential Financial. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of experience in implementing AI and generative AI solutions to address business challenges, ideally within a medium to large financial services organization. In this role, you will serve as a key expert in generative AI technologies and their applications, specifically focusing on creating scalable and effective AI solutions. You will leverage your understanding of what constitutes a high-quality AI solution, orchestrating complex workflows and integrations to optimize performance and output. Understanding the evolving space of LLMs and proficiency with Microsoft's Azure AI Studio and Copilot Studio are essential, as you will be responsible for driving the implementation and ongoing enhancement of these cutting-edge technologies to meet evolving business requirements.

This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis 2-3 days per week.

What you can expect:


  • Design and implement AI solutions that deliver tangible results, focusing on scalability and integration with existing systems.

  • Develop workflows and orchestration for complex AI solutions to maximize efficacy and performance.

  • Leverage Microsoft Azure AI Studio and Copilot Studio to build and deploy AI models and applications.

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.

  • Stay current with advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, sharing knowledge with team members and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges that can be solved through AI and generative AI solutions.

  • Monitor the performance of implemented AI solutions, making iterative improvements based on user feedback and data analysis.

  • Establish best practices for AI solution development and deployment within the organization.

  • Provide training and support to business units on AI solution capabilities and usage.

What you will bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

  • 5+  years of experience implementing AI and generative AI solutions, preferably in the financial services sector.

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure AI Studio and Copilot Studio with hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI solutions.

  • Strong understanding of LLMs, machine learning algorithms, data processing, and AI model orchestration.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify and address business needs.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations in the financial services industry is an advantage.

  • A passion for innovation and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in AI technology and application.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $175,000 to $210,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
