Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Sourcing and Procurement Associate
Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 06 months
Location: Warren, NJ Hybrid
As a Sourcing
and Procurement Associate you will:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing sourcing and procurement activities to support our cutting-edge research and development initiatives.
Required Competencies
• Experience: Entry level with Internship / Co-Op experience, 1-4+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to procurement in a research and development environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Supplier Management:
a. Part with category teams to Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet the facility's needs for materials, equipment, and services.
b. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and high-quality standards.
2. Procurement Operations:
a. Manage supplier contracts.
b. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
3. Cost Management:
a. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for money.
b. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function.
c. Track and report on procurement expenditures and budget adherence.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
a. Work closely with R&D, quality, and operations teams to understand their requirements and provide procurement support.
b. Act as a liaison between the facility and the central procurement function, if applicable.
c. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
a. Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
b. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings initiatives.
c. Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Education : Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $40.72- $ 47.41 /hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
