Job Description:

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Trust and Estates Legal Administrative Assistant.


  • Position type: Full time - Direct Hire


  • Location: Syracuse, New York


  • Job/ Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

As a Paralegal, you will:

  • Provide legal and non-legal administrative support to attorneys.


  • Interface with clients, administrative agencies, and court personnel.


  • E-file documents and coordinate paper filings of documents


  • Complete time entry and billing to ensure accurate payment.


  • Provide sophisticated calendar management for Attorneys.


  • Coordinate meetings including in-person, virtual and conference calls.


  • Complete a wide range of administrative tasks that facilitate the attorney's ability to effectively service internal and external clients.


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients.


  • Work closely with attorneys keeping them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities; anticipate needs in advance of meetings, phone calls, etc.


  • Run conflict checks and create client files.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Prior work experience as an Paralegal

  • Prior experience working in Trust & Estates required

  • Client service focused demeanor, excellent communications skills, attention to detail, and initiative to complete tasks independently

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing work priorities on an as needed basis.

  • Possess good organizational skills, judgment, and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $50sK - $60sK.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
