LABORER
Full-Time Opportunity
Borough Of River Edge (Bergen County)
- Under immediate or general supervision, the main duty will consist of recycling.
- Will also perform various types of manual, skilled and semi-skilled tasks involved in maintenance of public buildings, parks, grounds, roads and sewers including but not limited to chipping, landscaping, leaf/brush collection, shoveling, plowing, catch basin maintenance, road work, paving/patching, building & grounds maintenance, cleaning, and other related duties as assigned and as needed.
- Trade skills such as masonry, tree removal, pesticide application license are highly desirable.
- Candidate must be customer service oriented and be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- This is a 40-hour-per-week position.
- Must be available for emergency overtime.
- Must have a valid Class B or Class A, air brake driver’s license (CDL), and a tanker endorsement.
Salary commensurate with the experience. Benefits are in accordance with NJ law. The successful candidate must undergo a background check.
