Responsibilities:
Lead complex plaintiff-side employment litigation cases, including discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and wage and hour disputes.
Review and negotiate employment contracts for executives and professionals.
Effectively manage and mentor associates, fostering their professional development while ensuring high-quality legal work and collaboration within the team.
Cultivate and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
Engage in community outreach and networking to promote the Firm and its mission.
Enjoy marketing, business development, and the business of managing of law firm.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting employment litigation.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials and admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
10 or more years of employment law experience (employment litigation experience preferred).
Experience in supervising attorneys and staff.
Experience in forums that handle employment claims at the administrative level: MCAD and EEOC.
Effective client communicator who exhibits a professional, practical, open, and level-headed manner, even when dealing with highly sensitive issues.
Detail-oriented and pragmatic, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, alongside excellent research and writing abilities.
Ability to work independently and use good legal judgment.
Demonstrated expertise in research and writing, with the ability to analyze complex information and present findings clearly and concisely across various formats.
