The Global Supply Chain Direct Spend Category Management team at Entegris is an integral function charged with enabling Entegris' global supplier category plans and business growth objectives, while satisfying some of the world's largest and most demanding semiconductor customers.
We are currently seeking a dynamic Director, Category Leader to join our team. In this global role, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Direct Materials Sourcing, and your primary responsibility will be to strategically manage Entegris' category management team to the level required to satisfy Entegris business needs. This position can be based out of either Billerica, MA; Burnet, TX; or Round Rock, TX.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, mentor and inspire a cohesive team of supply chain professionals tasked with managing a global footprint of suppliers.
Lead global organization to understand critical business needs and lead the implementation of appropriate supplier engagement activities to deliver commercial success, including identification and onboarding of new suppliers.
Establish comprehensive business and market intelligence data, including strategic opportunities and value-added solutions related to partner, supplier, or contract manufacturing arrangements.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers that facilitate a deep understanding of their organizations and capabilities to support Entegris product requirements, while motivating them to greater performance in support of Entegris business goals.
Assess gaps in supplier capabilities and implement appropriate continuous improvement activities to optimize performance to Entegris' needs.
Assure effective negotiation and management of commercial supply terms to support Entegris' business needs.
Requirements:
10+ years' experience managing a global team in a high growth environment with a track record of delivering strong financial results in professional supply chain/procurement function.
Must have experience managing over $200M in direct spend and managing a team of at least 10 people.
Bachelor's degree in a technical or supply chain/operations field at a minimum.
Demonstrated skills in sourcing/supplier & category management. Direct knowledge of machining, outsourcing, contract manufacturing experience a plus
Ability to build strong relationship with business unit leaders and procurement and supply chain.
Strategic negotiation skills including ability to document negotiation process and the ability deliver enhanced product margins.
Strong financial modelling capability or MBA degree is highly desirable.
