Bilingual Analyst, Construction Services
The Bilingual Analyst, Construction Services is part of the Technical Services team responsible for all aspects of construction management and network development of highly qualified contractors
serving Elevate's programs. This role includes conducting site assessments, reviewing proposals, managing contractors, and conducting quality oversight for lead service line replacement projects. The Bilingual Analyst, Construction Services also serves as a technical reference for program managers and provides project management support as needed. This position contributes to the successful delivery of Elevate's programs across the organization, including a project to replace lead service lines at childcare facilities in Cook County. The Bilingual Analyst, Construction Services also ensures that Elevate's contractor networks across the organization are inclusive, equitable, and represent the communities where programs are delivered. The Bilingual Analyst, Construction Services reports to the Manager, Construction Services.
This position is located in Chicago, Illinois and is hybrid, this position is hybrid, and there may be instances in which onsite visits and travel are required.
Responsibilities
Conduct site visits with plumbing contractors to develop scopes of work for lead service line replacement at home-based childcare facilities.
Provide construction oversight for lead service line replacement projects, restoration work, and across Elevate programs as needed.
Identify restoration needs following lead service line replacement and develop scopes of work in collaboration with contractors.
Conduct project inspections as needed based on individual program requirements.
Collaborate with program staff, workforce development, and other teams in recruiting, vetting, onboarding, and managing contractor networks in support of Elevate programs.
Build positive relationships and ensure contractors (particularly newly vetted/onboarded) have the support they need to be successful.
Learn and stay current on lead service line replacement and lead in water mitigation best practices.
Regularly and consistently update activity log in Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to ensure visibility and data accuracy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
At least three (3+) years of in-field construction or plumbing installation experience required
High school diploma or GED required
Active building science certifications preferred
Experience developing and reviewing project scopes of work
Prior experience working with various contractor trades
Familiarity with Salesforce or other customer relationship management system
Strong verbal communication skills
Bilingual Spanish/English required
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
Can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Passion for Elevate's mission and vision
Willingness to travel to project sites across Cook County
Compensation
The total compensation for this position includes health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), defined contribution benefit (401k with contribution), professional development, generous paid time off policies, and a flexible schedule. This is an exempt individual contributor position with a salary range of $60,000 - $67,500, based on experience.
