Our firm is seeking a Portfolio Manager to manage assets on behalf of the firm. This team member will monitor existing holdings, generate new investment ideas, devise and implement investment strategies, execute trades, allocate assets, manage risk, construct and manage portfolios, report portfolio performance, help maintain investment operations, help ensure compliance with company and legal standards, provide support for client-facing advisors, interact with clients and members of the firm, and manage various projects as needed.
The Portfolio Manager will serve as an integral member of the Asset Management Group. In that capacity, they will contribute analysis and research to the firm's team-based investment-making processes and be responsible for educating the team and clients on current portfolio news, market conditions, and economic events.
The Portfolio Manager's primary objective is to outperform relevant benchmarks. They must have the capacity to remain resilient and decisive when faced with potential underperformance and poorly performing financial markets.
Required Experience and Qualifications
5-7 years of experience performing fundamental analysis on equity securities
Equity, credit, and fund trading experience required
GIPS compliance experience to maintain our public track record preferred
CFA® certification
Duties:
Serve as an integral member of the Asset Management Group
