This position can be based at our corporate headquarters in Chicago's West Fulton Market District, as well as at our Wilmington, OH and Scranton, PA manufacturing complexes with a hybrid work schedule.
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, IT and Systems Administration position will deliver against two key objectives. Primarily, the individual will be responsible for execution of IT policies and controls for the Company. Secondarily, the individual will provide best-in-class technical services and solutions across the enterprise by being a technology leader reporting to the Infrastructure Leader. The individual must be flexible and results-oriented with the ability to provide insight and support on complex technical issues.
This Position Is Responsible For
Execute and improve IT General Controls for the supported application space. Be a champion of process rigor to the IT team and its customers.
Manage Active Directory/Azure Active Directory account and data access changes to ensure SOX compliance within IT controls.
Manage Azure environment with the help of our trusted partner.
Installation, upgrade and support of virtualized and physical servers; backup and data recovery; and datacenter services as required.
Installation, upgrade and support of client services; Office 365, email, SharePoint, company intranet, and as required troubleshooting of business systems and after-hours support.
Assist the Cyber Security Team with installation, upgrade and support of enterprise cybersecurity processes including; malware protection, email spam filtering, and other measures to protect company data from unauthorized access or attack.
Support of disaster recovery planning and testing.
Maintenance of corporate web domains and certificates.
Essential Functions
Provide a high-level of customer service throughout the organization with a primary focus on systems availability, responsiveness, and connectivity.
Manage project schedules and task details for timely delivery to the business.
Proactively monitor system resources, maintain system documentation, document root cause analysis, and ensure departmental service levels are achieved and exceeded.
Deliver IT services ensuring availability, integrity, and confidentiality of enterprise systems.
Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration across the Information Technology team.
Provide expert technical input to the project planning process as requested.
Implement and monitor system security procedures such as system updates and access control to maintain system integrity and availability.
Support the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the computing infrastructure that supports the company's operations and business applications.
Monitor and managing the performance of IT-related systems and services, in respect of their contribution to business performance and benefits to the business.
As assigned, assist in financial budgets and maintain effective financial controls. Assist in all budgetary processes, including expense budgets, project estimates, capital plans and business case development.
Assist and support in the establishment and enforcement of policies, processes, standards and methodologies, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery and service provisioning.
Assist and support in the establishment, development and implementation of effective and reasonable policies and practices to secure protected and sensitive data and ensure information security and compliance with relevant legislation and legal interpretation.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Requires 2 or more years executing IT compliance processes,
Requires 5 or more years of work experience in IT systems administration
Proficiency with the following technology components:
Virtualized Microsoft Servers
VEEAM backups
Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
Microsoft Tools such as Office 365, SharePoint, TEAMS
Must be able to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Good organization and time management skills required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 15% between company locations
