Superintendent Position Overview The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects
Supervise and coordinate activities of subcontractors and laborers
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Monitor project progress and report to stakeholders
Manage project budgets and schedules effectively
Conduct site inspections and quality control measures
Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure project specifications are met
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in construction
Strong knowledge of underground utility construction, water, sewer, and roadway systems
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
