LHH is seeking a Director of IT Systems for a client of ours in Sacramento, CA. This is a full-time, direct hire, and on-site position (5 days a week).
Summary:
The Director of Information Technology & Systems is responsible for the design, development and implementation of organizational information systems, software applications, and IT support and infrastructure systems.
Requirements:
2+ years of Yardi ERP system configuration and / or administration experience OR 2+ years of experience with SQL system databases, comfortable with/capable of learning new systems quickly.
3+ years overseeing IT operations, systems and Third-Party Providers (MSP and other vendors)
5+ years of experience in an IT Managerial position (or greater)
8+ years of experience in IT overall
Must be detail oriented, able to hit deadlines and follow through on tasks and handle a reasonable amount of pressure
5+ years of experience with Office 365
Nice to have experience with Python
Nice to have experience with Procore Software
Nice to have experience with QuickBooks
Nice to have experience with Avid
Nice to have industry experience in Real Estate or Property Management
Responsibilities:
Oversee IT operations, systems and Third-Party Providers.
Administrate and manage the Yardi ERP software and be capable of programming new reports and custom processes as needed.
Develop organizational IT strategy (cloud, information systems, security, communication systems)
Develop, manage, and track the IT Department's annual budget.
Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs; develop a roadmap to implement solutions based on Company prioritization.
Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance.
Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve corporate efficiency.
Review technology requirements for client facing systems to ensure consistency of delivery and a cohesive solution architecture.
Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
Act as administrator and provide direction, guidance, and training to office staff on various IT systems.
Act as the primary point of contact in assigned locations and newly integrated practices liaising with the Third-Party Providers.
Responsible for end-to-end project management, support, service and execution of the IT integration processes.
Review of Current IT provider, nature of services and terms
Owner of all communication and telecommunication expenditures; evaluate current providers and create efficiencies and optimize services provided.
Maintain a regular cadence of interaction, service, and support with newly integrated and current practices in assigned locations. Travel occasionally and as needed to already existing locations.
Fully understand, provide guidance, and administer Company policies and procedures accurately and consistently. Manage the various compliance requirements throughout the organization.
Establish or upgrade IT procedures as needed while recommending changes to improve the efficiencies to minimize manual administration, workflow bottlenecks and repetitive data entry.
