The KYDA Partners are seeking a Senior Donor Services Manager where you'll drive excellence in donor eligibility processes, compliance, and team development to support innovative medical advancements. In this position, you'll oversee and optimize a skilled team, collaborating closely with recovery agencies and industry partners to ensure standards are met with precision.
As the gatekeeper of quality and compliance, you'll uphold rigorous FDA, AATB, and ISO standards while pioneering advancements that fuel new product development. A crucial component of this role includes working with cadaveric specimens to maintain high tissue banking standards-a field where precision, ethical commitment, and regulatory adherence intersect with life-changing impacts.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Quality Control: Lead and guarantee regulatory compliance for HCT/P donor eligibility records, essential for supporting production activities.
Cadaveric Handling: Leverage your hands-on cadaveric experience to ensure precise and ethical handling, a cornerstone in upholding tissue quality standards.
Team Leadership & Development: Guide, mentor, and set annual goals for a dedicated team, focusing on continuous professional development and fostering leadership.
Agency Collaboration: Build and maintain professional relationships with recovery agencies to streamline the donor eligibility process, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration.
Process & Risk Management: Regularly review, update, and improve departmental processes and manage risk by identifying, addressing, and escalating issues as necessary.
Regulatory Alignment: Oversee and revise department procedures in compliance with FDA, AATB, and other relevant standards, ensuring high standards and ethical adherence.
Quality Metrics & Audits: Monitor and report on donor review quality metrics; participate in internal and external audits, ensuring records are consistently maintained for accuracy and compliance.
Project & Product Development: Support new product initiatives alongside Product Development teams, keeping projects aligned with timeline targets.
Continuing Education: Craft and implement ongoing education strategies, ensuring the team remains informed on industry regulations and advancements.
Team Management & Recruitment: Oversee direct reports, recruit and select personnel, and conduct performance reviews to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.
