We are a leading commercial general contractor in Charlotte, NC, building a reputation for quality, efficiency, and exceeding client expectations. We're looking for a talented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in bringing our clients' visions to life.
Responsibilities:
Manage aspects of assigned commercial construction projects, with a value of up to $15 million, or a combination of projects reaching that value.
Assist in all project phases, from pre-construction planning and budgeting to execution, completion, and handover.
Maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, ensuring they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and architects, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily logs.
Track project costs and ensure all expenditures are within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
Understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to learn project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Valid driver's license.
