The Planning Manager is a proactive and detail-oriented individual dedicated to oversee the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that ensure efficient inventory management, accurate demand forecasting, and effective production planning. In this role, you will analyze supply chain data, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, optimize resource allocation, and ensure timely delivery of products. Your leadership will be critical in balancing supply and demand, minimizing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning.
Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Develop and manage the MPS to align production plans with customer demand, optimizing resource utilization and production efficiency.
Data Analysis: Analyze planning data and trends to forecast demand and identify potential supply chain issues, making proactive adjustments as necessary.
Collaboration: Coordinate with suppliers, production teams, and other internal departments to ensure alignment on production schedules, inventory levels, and delivery timelines.
Resource Optimization: Optimize resource allocation across the supply chain, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain continuity of supply.
Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior planners, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by recommending and implementing best practices in supply chain planning and management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or demand forecasting.
Must have MPS and JDE experience (BOM, MRP)
Utilize JD Edwards for Bill of Materials (BOM) management and Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring accurate data and timely updates to support production scheduling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with a strong understanding of relevant methodologies and best practices.
Must be willing to work onsite (local candidates only)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
