Job Description:
Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist
Hours: Monday - Friday, either 8 am - 1 pm or 12 pm - 5 pm
Objectives of this Role
- Streamline office operations and support daily processes, supplies, and equipment management
- Serve as a welcoming face to employees, guests, and visitors, creating a positive first impression
- Ensure smooth workflows, communications, and logistics throughout the office
- Manage the office badging system and ensure facility-related concerns are reported to the appropriate department
- Exhibit a hunger to learn, resourcefulness, and a willingness to help wherever needed
Responsibilities
- Open/close the office and greet employees, visitors, vendors, and interviewees in a friendly manner
- Manage and maintain the badging system, running daily reports for office entry and security
- Monitor and replenish office supplies, ensuring the functionality of office equipment, and liaising with the appropriate departments for repairs
- Coordinate conference rooms for meetings, including room setup and catering orders
- Assist with internal event planning, such as office celebrations or team lunches
- Run daily reports, maintain detailed calendars, and coordinate schedules for the office
- Create purchase orders (POs) and submit office expenses
- Ensure all facility-related issues are raised promptly to the correct department
