Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual to work on the Accounting & Finance team to assist with the Monthly Financial process, including the Accounts Receivable cycle, General Ledger activities and Month End close. This position will require the individual to possess strong time management skills, attention to detail and experience with GAAP reporting and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition. The individual should have the demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly accounting transactions, including Client billings, Cash collections
  • Work with internal teams to ensure all invoices are approved and recorded accurately
  • Assist with month end close process, including preparation of journal entries
  • Work with Senior Accountant to prepare monthly journal entries
  • Prepare monthly account analysis and reconciliations
  • Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Work closely with all team members to ensure accuracy and completion of all financial reporting within established deadlines
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Assist with other accounting tasks as needed

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 2 years of experience as a STA accountant involved in the Accounts Payable process of a multi-dimensional organization
  • Solid working knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Oce, Google products, Salesforce
  • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and focused on producing accurate results
  • Ability to meet established deadlines a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
