Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of the overall investment area with more time spent on an area of potential specialization
  • Support Sr PM Team on investment related projects including client proposals and portfolio analysis
  • Become well versed in our Portfolio Management and Investment systems
  • Track investment products, financial markets, and economic indicators and be able to discuss proficiently.
  • Utilize risk analysis and portfolio transition software

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required, preferably in Finance or Economics.
  • Progress toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
  • 1-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of financial modeling/risk analysis
  • Working knowledge of a portfolio management system (Black Diamond, Tamarac, Orion or Addepar) preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of portfolio construction and tax-efficient portfolio management strategies (i.e. asset location, tax-loss harvesting, etc.).
  • Ability to be organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated, while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements
  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
  • Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
