GoAuto Insurance, a leader in the Non-Standard Personal Automobile Industry, is seeking a Casualty Claims Manager to lead our team in managing casualty claims across Louisiana, Texas, Nevada, and Alabama. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our claims operations and ensuring exceptional service.
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Surrounding Area
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Direct and manage a team of 4 to 8 Casualty Claims Adjusters, ensuring effective staffing, support, and performance.
Claims Oversight: Guide the claims handling process from initial assignment to resolution, providing direction based on claim complexity.
Performance Management: Review injury evaluations and authorize settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with documentation standards.
Operational Excellence: Establish best practices for customer service, file handling quality, and claim disposition in collaboration with peers and executive management.
Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a high level of professionalism and engagement.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to industry standards, including state unfair claim practice acts and GoAuto procedures.
Vendor Management: Oversee the utilization of external vendors, maintaining a balance between expense and exposure.
Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular file reviews, compile performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to support team members' professional growth.
Qualifications:
Extensive Casualty Experience: A minimum of 3 years managing a Casualty Claims team, preferably with experience in Louisiana, Texas, Nevada, or Alabama.
Claims Expertise: Proven experience as a Litigation, Senior Casualty, Hybrid, or Casualty Adjuster, with a thorough understanding of claims management principles.
Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, with strong mentoring and training capabilities.
Education: College degree preferred, or a minimum of 10 years of related claims experience may be considered.
Communication & Analytical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, strong prioritization skills, and capacity to analyze reports for continuous improvement.
Compensation
$75,000 - $90,000 annually
