What You'll Do:
Be the Liaison: Act as the main contact between internal teams and their outside billing firm, ensuring smooth communication and swift resolution of any issues.
Monitor Performance: Keep a close eye on billing metrics, such as accuracy, claim rejections, and collections. Use your analytical skills to identify trends and suggest improvements.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and be aware of any changes in billing practices or rate adjustments.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed financial and billing reports and communicate insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with clinical teams, patient services, and finance to ensure all billing processes align with organizational goals.
Support & Train: Provide guidance and training on billing and compliance processes, making sure the team is equipped with the latest knowledge.
What You Bring:
A degree in Business, Finance or Healthcare Administration.
Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and healthcare regulations.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems (familiarity with NetSmart is a plus).
Critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze data and resolve issues proactively.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.
