Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing tax compliance and consulting projects for our diverse clientele, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of both corporate and individual tax matters, as well as excellent communication skills to provide tailored tax strategies to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation of individual tax returns.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with current tax laws.
Review and analyze tax documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assist clients with tax audits and resolve any issues that may arise.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
Stay updated on tax legislation and advise clients on potential impacts.
Lead and mentor junior staff in tax preparation and planning duties.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
EA preferred, but not required.
Seeking individuals with 2 - 3 years of tax preparation/ review experience.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, and GAAP.
Experience with tax consulting and compliance for both corporate and individual clients.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
