We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to develop and design mechanical engineering solutions, including technical specifications, equipment lists, general arrangements, failure analysis, engineering studies, standards/work practices, and process flow diagrams. The role also involves on-site commissioning and troubleshooting work.
Onsite Presence is a must: Preference for 3-4 days/week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop mechanical engineering designs, equipment lists, general arrangements, and process flow diagrams (PFDs) to meet project requirements.
Prepare technical specifications and sizing calculations for major equipment, including gas compression, gas conditioning, and power generation.
Perform intermediate complexity engineering designs, including analysis, calculations, research, and equipment selection.
Provide field installation support, including pre-commissioning and start-up assistance.
Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of mechanical designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Coordinate mechanical engineering activities with 3rd party OEM packagers and general contractors to ensure project success.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with overall project objectives.
Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and client presentations, effectively communicating progress, findings, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on industries such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Gas Processing, or Mobile Equipment (experience in these industries is highly advantageous).
Strong understanding of heavy equipment and off-highway equipment design principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations applicable to mechanical engineering design.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Experience with mechanical systems design in power generation, oil and gas, and/or mining industries.
Experience in the installation, operation, or troubleshooting of natural gas compression or power generation equipment.
