We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows desktop and notebook computers, mobile devices, and peripherals. As the first responder to technical issues on the production floor, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations.
Location: Spring Area, TX
Shift: Night Shift (Flexible Hours)
Essential Functions:
Provide hardware and helpdesk support for Windows, Android, and iOS devices.
Maintain and troubleshoot peripheral devices, including scanners and printers.
Install and configure software as required for systems access.
Document all issues and resolution steps using the helpdesk ticketing system.
Proactively seek systems improvements through regular performance monitoring.
Top Requirements:
Desktop Support Experience:
Experience providing both hardware and software support directly to end users, including in-person interactions.
SCCM for Patching:
Familiarity with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for remote software deployment and management, automating patch management for Windows operating systems.
Ticketing Experience:
Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred but not required) for logging and tracking issues.
